1952 | Dr. MICHEL PISTOR's crucial experience with the deaf cobbler of Bray-Lu, which gave birth to Mesotherapy. |
1958 | The term “Mesotherapy” was defined and first used in a medical publication in France.
Dr. M. Bicheron employs the Mesotherapy technique in Algiers. |
1961 | Dr. M. Pistor publishes his book “La Mésotherapie”. |
1964 | The French Society of Mesotherapy is founded a. Dr. Lebel is elected the first president. |
1968 | Dr M. Pistor presents a paper to the French Medical Academy the term “La Mésothérapie, une technique polyvalente” and is accepted by said society as medical term. |
1974 | Dr. M. Pistor publishes his book “Un Défi thérapeutique, La Mésothérapie“ (ISBN 978-2224000998). |
1975 | The Italian Society of Mesotherapy is founded. |
1976 | Dr. Dalloz-Bourguignon established the first hospital practice of mesotherapy at the Necker Hospital of Paris, France.
The First International Congress of Mesotherapy was held in Bray-Lu, France, where it all began. |
1978 | The first Doctoral thesis about Mesotherapy was presented by Dr. Dalloz-Bourguignon. |
1979 | The Swiss Society of Mesotherapy is founded.
Second International Mesotherapy Congress. |
1980 | The first circle of studies of Mesotherapy is formed by the French Society of Mesotherapy. |
1981 | Foundation of the First Regional Mesotherapy Training-Center (CERM), at the Université Paris Nord 13, France. |
1982 | Third International Congress of Mesotherapy in Rome, Italy by Dr. C.A. Bartoletti.
Creation of the International Society of Mesotherapy by Dr Michel Pistor, Dr. Carlo Alberto Bartoletti and Dr. Gilbert Ravily. |
1984 | Foundation of the German Society of Mesotherapy and Spanish Society of Mesotherapy. |
1985 | IV Congress of Mesotherapy is held in Paris, France. |
1986 | The Tunisian Society of Mesotherapy is founded. |
1987 | The French Academy of Medicine recognizes Mesotherapy as integral part of the classical curricular teaching of medicine, as another medical technique for the introduction of a medication to a patient. |
1988 | V International Congress of Mesotherapy, in Paris, France. |
1989 | The Colombian Society of Mesotherapy is founded. |
1990 | The Algerian Society of Mesotherapy is founded. |
1992 | VI International Congress of Mesotherapy in Brussels, Belgium.
The La Real Academia de la Lengua Española (Royal Academy of the Spanish Language), defines and incorporates into the Spanish language the term Mesotherapy. |
1993 | The Mexican Society of Mesotherapy is founded. |
1995 | VII International Congress of Mesotherapy in Bordeaux, France. |
1998 | VIII International Congress of Mesotherapy in Sao Paolo, Brazil, the first International Congress of Mesotherapy that is held outside of Europe. |
1999 | The First International Course of Mesotherapy at the University Victor Segalen of Bordeaux, France. |
2000 | The Israeli Society of Mesotherapy is founded.
Acceptance of reimbursement for medical procedures using the mesotherapy technique in pain-treatment in France. IX International Congress of Mesotherapy, Paris, France. |
2001 | 50-years jubilee, celebration with Dr. Michel Pistor in his home-village Bray-Lu. |
2002 | DIU-Diplome Interuniversitaire of the medical faculty of Paris Bordeaux-Marseille (one-year postgraduate-course of study). |
2003 | The Lebanese Society of Mesotherapy is founded.
